Answer:	No, I never use a screen protector. I had an iPhone 8 for 3.5 years and never used one. The screens now are much stronger. I had the same type of Apple case on my 8 and loved it.

Answer:	To start, this case actually has a lip all the way around that keeps the phone’s screen from touching whatever it’s facing. The case would do its job and absorb a good amount of the shock per the leather. Where the leather fails, this iPhone model’s frame is well built to withstand a hit. Or several. That being said, MagSafe cases are designed to be easily swapped out - and more of an aesthetic than a protection. So, maybe go for a fortified case from UAG or Lifeproof instead.

Answer:	There is a slight lip on it to protect slightly from drops. Occasionally at the corners on the case they do slide off the phone when in a pocket though. So it’s a risk there. As well if they would be any debris, rock, dirt, corners that don’t protect the screen. This is more of a style/MagSafe case than it is for full protection. If this case is used I’d recommend a glass screen protector still.
