Answer:	I bought a size x-small, (10" back, 12" neck, 12-14" girth) for my 5 lb long coat Chihuahua and it fits great. I would go by length of your dog's back and girth measurement to guess the size. My Chihuahua's head is big for his body, so I needed a neck opening that would be big enough to get his fat little head through. So, I don't really know what size a big dog would need, sorry.
