Please break the case down into 3 pieces first, you need to open the hard plastic two part case and place your phone in there, then snap it shut. Answer:	Yes it seems very weather resistant and I have not had any issues when caught in the rain.

There is not much room maybe 20-30 sheets or a normal size notepad. I have not used the should strap but it is narrow and there is no pad so my guess is it will dig in to your shoulder. I am not sure I understand you airport question. It should lay on your carry on fine.
