Answer:	There are limits listed in the information. It works to a certain depth for a certain length of time, but be sure all your flaps (power) are closed tightly and the earphone plug cover is tightly screwed all the way in. Also, don't forget to put the o-ring (long circle of rubber in the slot for it and be sure it doesn't lap over anywhere (If it laps it will cut or damage the o-ring. If that happens, the cover is no longer waterproof. Mine has been dropped in the pool a few times this summer - about 3'; and it's been just fine!
