Answer:	Absolutely. You won't have to wear your reading glasses while using the device. I had an eye injury that lead to have cataract surgery on one of my eyes, which makes the damaged eye not be able to see up close, and I can't even tell when I use the headset. You can use the focus knob to adjust the view for your vision.

Answer:	Yes it does. I have a Note 4 and I purchased the Samsung Gear VR (2016 version) and even though the Gear VR does not list the Note 4 as a compatible device, I was able to get it to work just fine. The fit of the Note 4 inside the Gear VR is kind of tight, but it works none-the-less.

Answer:	As far as I know you have three major advantages: 1) There is an aditional 'Home' button above the touch sensor on the side of the Gear, 2) It prevents light leak (at least better than the previous model) and 3) you can use it with phones that have Micro USB, and USB-C connectors. Answer:	They do work fine on the new model. But, due to where you plug in now on the headset itself, there is some extra cable to deal with. I solved that by using a velcro cable tie to coil up the cable and tie it down. Not the cleanest solution, but better than having the cable dangle on the back of your neck.

Answer:	No light leakage and the padding is about a good as one could imagine coming up with. I'd like a bit more range on the focus, though, it can't quite meet my nearsightedness needs, so have to wear specs which is a bit uncomfortable for long periods.

Answer:	On the box, the VR supports the latest S series devices. Those being the s6, s7 and s8 series. The j3 is not currently support. However, for more details on supported devices they suggest checking out Samsung website for more details on compatibility.

Answer:	This device is only compatible with Galaxy S8, S8+, S7, S7 edge, Note5, S6 edge+, S6, S6 edge http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/gear-vr/ Click the compatibility tab on the top of the page to see what I'm talking about. It MIGHT fit the Note3. But you will only be able to run Google Cardboard applications, but nothing from Samsung/Oculus. If you own a Note3 you're better off buying a basic headset for $25-$35.
