How to use the VR Headset for your phone?

First, Please choose and start a VR APP on the smartphone.

Note: for Google Cardboard Apps, a scan of the QR code placed on the visor with the smarphone before it's placement inside is advised. Or you can choose other APPs with VR supported.

Answer:	I have a 6S Plus with official Apple case & it fits perfectly. Snug enough to not slide around but as its cardboard, it could accommodate more bulk if it had to. I wouldn't expect any case to be a problem.

Answer:	Not really. It’s has fairly rough edges around the bridge of the nose and doesn’t allow for much room between the eye and viewer for glasses. I attempted to pad the boxing around the nose but ultimately had to return the item.

Answer:	Yes. It worked better with smaller phones thought. The 7 and 8 worked better because the screen does not extend from end to end. Also, they weren’t software versions available on some apps to run on 11, so I selected I was using an 8 and it seemed to work. Creative work arounds until updates come.

Question:	How do you reset the camera's position/orientation while using this pocket viewer
Answer:	That would be controlled by whatever software is running the image you are viewing, and to an extent whatever phone you are using. In other words, there are a bunch of answers and none of them have to do with this device: all it is is a holder and a set of lenses. For example, I searched up "3D side by side video" and on youtube.com I watched a guy make a pizza in 3d. I tilted the phone, and it flopped the image over to the widescreen version so I could view it without the glasses by focusing beyond the screen with my eyes. (Big deal; I can go to a pizza restaurant and watch a guy make a pizza in 3d anytime I want...! And smell it and eat a slice, too!) I would try tilting your phone in the direction you want the image to end up; that seems to tell my iPhone which way I want to view something. Also make sure you haven't got your screen "screen locked" in your preferences, so that it only shows you stuff "upright".

Answer:	The phone you mention has a 6.3" screen. The description of the Mini VR Viewer states it works "with iOS and Android", which is easy to say; all it is is a set of lenses and a holding clip. Basically any smart phone that can stream the VR programming -- the 360 degree videos and some of the 3D stuff -- can be clipped in and viewed. You can't interact with any games or click on any menu items while viewing; it doesn't have the magnetic switch in the Google cardboard ones or any digital interface like an Oculus. It's a set of lenses and a clip. I used mine with my students to look at old stereographic images from the 1900's.

Answer:	This is basically a magnifying glass x2 that hangs down in front of your phone. no electronics no latch to trigger any buttons on your phone no way to easily trigger anything. Answer:	Nope, but maybe we need more clarification about what you say about "3d". The Glass + App can give you a sense of depthness if you are seing 360º videos - a kind of "immertion feeling" - but it's not a 3D video as we know.
