Answer:	On the initial start of most pellet grills, they will go high on temp and then come down. What I have done is start it up and once its going, set it to 180F-183F. It will settle down and then you can actually switch it to Smoke setting if you want, but smoke is produced at 183F setting for me. I've used 173F to 183F and Smoke setting for smoking meats. The difference between the Smoke setting is it runs on a "P" setting, which is just a timed off and on of the auger feeding pellets (which you can change to adjust for ambient conditions), where using the temperature on at 173F-183F, the grill temp sensor will trigger the auger to feed pellets as needed. The Smoke setting can be used, but if you're P setting is set too high of a value (Default is P2), you can get a flame out since its not being monitored. I've have used mine mainly on P2, P3, or P4 and even P9 the first time out and never had a flame out. Just don't open the grill much when smoking, as you will loose heat quickly if opened too long.

Answer:	No. The whole thing is fixed.
Question:	What about those who like to flip the orientation of the dial
Answer:	The band comes off by pressing the little elongated buttons on the watch itself next to each side of the band. All the bands on the apple watch are interchangeable. That being said, I don't believe you have to take the band off to install. I didn't at least for mine, but I have the elastopolymer one.

Answer:	I've used it on my 42mm Series 2 for about a month. Zero issues with microphone or speakers.
