Keep in mind that the antennas also need either a 50 ft. horizontal separation OR a 20 ft. vertical separation. It can also be a mix of the two based on your situation. The booster will show a red light if the antennas are too close to each other. In this case, we suggest first checking to see if you are getting a boosted signal. If you are, you are ok to keep the antennas as is. If you are getting red lights and not seeing a boosted signal, you will need to separate the antennas farther apart. The booster will need to be powered off and back on each time an antenna is readjusted or relocated. Thank you!

Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Question:	Is the omni directional antenna as good as the yagi? Or would I be better off with the yagi antenna
Answer:	No as long as it can connect to your network you are good with an extender service, along with extra security an storage. Installing the DAP-160 is easy. I used the Wi-Fi Connection Setup Wizard and selected Extender as the wireless mode. Next, I gave both bands an SSID name and a password and let the extender scan for available networks. Within 10 seconds it found my network and displayed its signal strength (100%). I hit Connect, entered my Wi-Fi password, and entered a password for the extender. After 60 seconds or so, the device rebooted and was ready to go.
Question:	does it cover 850mhz
Answer:	That is what the unit designs for, wirelessly connect to your router or access point and extend you WiFi signal. However, you should make sure the location of the extender receiving a decent signal from you router or access point. Then, the extender will do it job. If not, the extender is just a plug-in LED light. It took me awhile to find that sweet spot in my house and get the unit working properly. If you don't have good WiFi signal in the location, where you are going to install the extender, you should try a powerline adapter with wireless/WiFi capability. Answer:	Amazon has grouped different products together again, so the reviews you are reading may not be for the device you are wondering about. The DAP-1650, can be used as an access point and a multi-port switch on at least some hardware/firmware versions. Answer:	I have it in a building about 50 yards from my modem. I can use this extention another 50 yards. its kind of cool. so I get like 50 extra yards I didn't have before.

Answer:	I cannot say for sure. My guess would be yes . Because there’s no programming or anything involved. It boosts several phones all Verizon. I truly believe it will. I live in the country where only Verizon is available to me.
Question:	Can this be powered by a car battery that charges when my cabin generator is running
Answer:	By no means am I an expert on this product. It runs on a 120V AC plug, then is converted to DC. If your battery runs a 110/120V converter (DC to AC), then maybe but directly from battery? The provided plug won't work. It's likely going to need a good constant power source.
Question:	I have a vacation house where i only get 1 bar. would this work
Answer:	I have one at my cabin in the woods and it works great. Before I could barely get a signal under the metal roof but with the HiBoost I get 2-3 bars and good data rates.

Answer:	Hello! The magnetic antenna will mount directly on the truck. If mounting on an aluminum-bodied vehicle, you can use the adhesive disk included in the kit.
Question:	I want to use this from all seats in my minivan. It sounds like the phones must be close to internal antenna. Is a minivan too big
Answer:	Hello! This kit covers up to 5 ft. The weaker the outside signal is, the smaller the coverage area will be. Your devices will need to be closer to the internal antenna when in areas with a very weak outside signal.
Question:	How do i connect it to the verizon mifi 8800l jetpack? is there a splitter to connect to the 2 attenna slots on the bottom
Answer:	You don't connect the WeBoost to the Mi-Fi device. It will amplify the signal when it finds it. For example, if I have 2 bars on the Mi-Fi, then the WeBoost sees the signal and amplifies it to 4 bars. It increases the signal for all the devices around. We use it in our RV and it will amplify the signal for our Mi-Fi as well as both phones inside the RV. It just brings the outside signal inside.
Question:	Just to confirm, you don't need a sim card? this is just boosts the signal
Answer:	Hello! That is correct. The booster itself does not need a sim card to amplify the signal. The booster will automatically pick up the available signal, amplify it, and provide it to the available phones. If your carrier is not available in the area, then the booster would not be able to provide a boosted signal to your phones. The booster's performance is contingent on the outside signal strength.
