Answer:	You would need an adapter to clamp on to the iPad. I assume this would tripod would support the weight of an iPad. It is pretty sturdy but only has a screw on the top to attach to the base of a camera. I use this with a Sony cyber shot and it works great

Answer:	It is 7.75” wide (or a 7.75” diameter circle) when the legs are extended.

Answer:	My opinion is that it could hold most DSLRs if the lens was not long. A long telephoto that extended out very far past the legs is going to tip it over. As long as the lens is not long the tripod is sturdy enough.

Answer:	It fits most phones but the problem I had was the spring is so strong I couldn’t Hold it apart to get the phone in. It takes 2 hands just to keep it open. Someone else had to put the phone in. I returned it.

Answer:	The spring maxed out around 3.5 inches wide. If the phone is between 2.25inches and 3.5 inches it will fit.

Answer:	I have the lg lancet and it does fit but the spring is so strong that it takes 2 hands to pull it apart to insert the phone. I returned it for that reason. Have not tried to find another one yet.

I am very picky and am very satisfied with this device. It is very well designed and built. And simple. I am an amateur photographer and a retired engineer.
