Answer:	That depends on the Battery you are charging i.e. condition, state of discharge, and rated capacity. The operators manual states that it is not designed to charge automotive batteries. My guess from the size of charging clip wiring is that it would adequately charge motorcycle, arc, garden tractor type batteries probably in the 14 amp capacity range. The manual only states voltage and not amperage output but again the small gauge wiring would indicate 1-2 amp output at the most. I haven’t tested the output myself but I’m guessing it would charge a motorcycle battery in about 3 to 4 hours.

Additionally, I have read recommendations that you should use and charge batteries every 90 to 120 days for a little bit of use. By using them periodically, it will preserve the life of the battery.
