Answer:	I'd say you're somewhat lucky not to have the instructions. Mine were awful. I used multiple YouTube videos as a guide. I could not find any single video that was complete and accurate. Sorry, but I didn't keep the links to any of the videos. Getting the iPad apart was a real pain. The examples on YouTube had already been taken apart and look ridiculously easy, which it's not. I used a 1200W paint stripping heat gun and moved it very quickly to heat things up until the adhesive could be separated with a spudger. The amount of heat required was a bit nerve-wracking, but everything worked out OK. My original instructions told me to remove the electronics from the rear half. I did not do this at all. I heated the case where the battery double stick tape resides and spudged the batteries loose when the adhesive softened. I also used a solvent to remove any residual tape left behind from the original batteries. I didn't think there was enough space to accommodate the extra tape left behind. Reassembly was fairly easy. I did note that some service people use a hotplate to heat up the entire iPad to 160 degrees F to soften the adhesive (Please double check the temperature, I'm doing this from memory). The hotplate seemed like a great idea if you can find one.

I was refunded the price for the screen and I scraped my project and bought a new iPad. Answer:	No. This is th the iPad 5th gen, full size iPad. Check your model number on the back, near the bottom for the model. It should read Axxxx i.e. A2123 or A2153 etc. Then locate the correct battery by that model number. BTW, This is not really a repair for an inexperienced person.
