Answer:	I used mine in -10 degree weather and it seemed to work just fine...although I noted today it is no longer working. Today it is around 40 degrees out. Don't know if that shortened the life span or what.

Answer:	I'm not a professional but I think it would be alright. It probably wouldn't charge the battery just keep it in a float state. I would check into whether or not it could interfere with your programming, though.

Answer:	A lot of newer chargers have this problem / feature. If voltage is that low there is a chance that the battery is dead and the charger does not want to put a high current into it and melt it. The best you can do is to use and old fashioned charger to bring the charge up to the low threshold for 12V charging. Some chargers require at least 10.5V before a microprocessor controlled battery will start charging it. What the the exact number of volts that would be the minimum...That I don't know.

Steps to be Considered:

1.  Determine the proper output voltage settings based on the type of rechargeable battery you wish to charge.

2.  Set the selector switch on the AC adapter to the proper matching voltage, either 6V or 12V. Please pay close attention to the proper voltage as not to damage your battery while charging.

3.  First, make sure to connect the red (positive) and the black (negative) alligator clips on the AC adapter to the corresponding terminals on the battery.

4.  Once the alligator clips are connected, plug the AC adapter into a 110-volt power source. The charge time will vary based on the current charge level of the battery.

5.  Reference charge indicator lights for most current charge status. (Red =Low/Yellow/Green = High)

Maintenance

To insure that the charger provides a good and consistent charge over time, keep the alligator clips clean and free of any sort of build-up that may interfere with charging.

Answer:	not that I am aware of. Light turns green when charge is full and I shut it off.
Question:	Will this work on 12V 7Ah rechargeable sealed lead acid battery? This is a battery the size of a small brick with two small slide on connectors
Answer:	I have used this charger on the same size battery and it works great. Just don't expect a quick charge. Usually overnight will fully charge the battery. The indicators on the charger will let you know when it is fully charged.
