I already had a screen protector on my phone and made no changes to it whatsoever.The new battery cover is not waterproof, but the battery is a BIG improvement. Had mine over 6 months now, and even on my heaviest use days I have yet to drop to 50% by the time I go to bed

Answer:	What I can tell you is that it fits my Galaxy S5. Not sure what the active is. The funny thing is that the battery is taller tan the stock battery so they include a back cover that is molded a bit taller than the original battery so the phone is a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. They also include a rubber boot to go around the phone to protect the phone if you drop it. Totally optional if you put the protective bootie on. I was quite surprised that I got the high capacity battery, the back cover and the bootie all for $12-13 dollars. Works great- Powers the phone for 12 hours with bluetooth on.
