This battery pack will run an AC pump, with the outlet on the top, as long as it's not a 3-prong outlet. (I've never seen an air mattress pump that has a 3-prong plug on it.) If you have a pump that normally plugs into the 12v (cigarette lighter) plug in a car, then no, this will not connect to it. I hope this helps!
