Answer:	If your batteries are a few years old (or have been over-charged routinely), they may have developed high internal resistance. When used in a photoflash unit, for example, they will give very slow refresh time since the terminal voltage is lower under load. But when you put them in a charger, the terminal voltage becomes higher due to charging current. So the EBL charger (which is not very smart) considers those batteries as fully charged, even through they are not.You should get some better quality rechargeable batteries (such as Panasonic eneloop) to use in your photoflash unit.
Question:	Can you charge different mAh batteries at a time? Lets say I have four 2000mAH and four 2300mAH batteries, do I have to charge these separately
Answer:	I would think they can be charged together. The mAh value simply is an indication of the length of time the battery will operate. It has nothing to do with out put current or voltage. The 2300 may take a bit longer to charge than the 2000, but I cannot say for sure that would be the case. I would put the 2000's together and the 2300's together. Don't put one size next to the other size.
Question:	How long does it take to fully charge batteries
Answer:	Charge time is determined by the capacity of the batteries divided by charging current. The charging current of EBL 808A is very low at 200mA. So to recharge a pair of 2800mAh batteries at 200mA will take at least 14 hours.

Answer:	No. This charger will charge only NiMH and NiCd AA/AAA batteries. The only Li-ion batteries it will charge are the 9v type. This is due to the voltages involved. NiMH and NiCd AA/AAA batteries are totally 1.2V.

Answer:	Not 100% sure but lithium-ion AAA batteries are 3.7 volts and this charger is designed to charge ni-cad AAA batteries which are 1.5 volts so I don't think it would do the job. DO NOT use 3.7 volt lithium-ion AAA batteries in your 1.5 volt battery appliances. It will destroy them!

Answer:	Yes. 1.0A is a 1.0 Amp outlet, and the other is 2.1 Amps. Larger devices, such as late model phones and tablets will charge much faster at 2.1 Amps, but small devices, like bluetooth headsets & watches can easily charge at 1.0 Amp.

Answer:	Advertising mumbo. The 1.5 alkaline batteries are only 1.5 at the very beginning and go downhill just like a ski slope, ending around .08 and dead. The “1.2” is pretty honest. The discharge curve of rechargeables stays above 1.2 for much longer.

Question:	Can this charge 2 D batteries at once
Answer:	I found a trick online that RESTORED ALL MY BATTERIES. It looks like magic but it worked for me on 8 batteries. You can google it and find the videos. Basically: find two short wires. Connect a bad battery with a good battery for 3-4 seconds (male to male, female to female). This will resurrect the bad battery but drain the good one. Now charge them both. Again, this trick salvaged 8 batteries I already put for recycling.

Answer:	I cannot get this device to charge EBL 9V NiMH batteries. I tried 2 of them and the red light inside the charger lights up, but no charging, no voltage occurs. This is an EBL charger and EBL batteries! The charger will charge other EBL batteries like AAAs and AAs. Is it defective?

Question:	how long does it take to charge a battery
Answer:	It's based on usage. Deep discharged cycles on the regular basis (discharged under 30%) will use up cycles but if you regularly charge them when they are about 1.15volts (or higher) they can last quite a long time long as they are not overcharged all the time or charged in a simple charger. If you want the best out of these batteries i suggest getting a smart charger such as http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004J6DLD4 (it doesn't have to be that model or brand) any will do that has delta v to prevent overcharging and a discharge/refresh mode as all or most batteries periodically need after many partial discharges or storage. Simple chargers work fine, but depending on your usage and doing partial discharging on simple chargers that have timers are not a good idea.. these batteries would last 2-5 years, but with partial discharging with a few full discharged cycles and a smart charger you can probably get more than 5 years out of these batteries (and it's based on usage).
Question:	how long can I store the batteries after charging
Answer:	The charger must be listed to work with the specific chemistry. If your charger says it will charge NiMH (nickel - metal hydride) batteries is should be good. Remove the battery from the charger when fully charged. The battery may be warm when the charge ends; this is normal because of the work (energy transfer) that has been done. In general batteries should be charged at 1/10 their normal discharge rate listed on their specification sheet (usually available online from the manufacturer.) If you are making you own charger, note that newer chemistries such as NiMH require use of an electronic charge management circuit and temperature sensor to vary the charge rate to prevent overheating the battery. (These are available online.)
