No problem for the battery to run that small amount of current, milliamps when they’re not charging something. Also, it is handy to have the charge port available at all times, so that you don’t have to have the car running or at least “turned on” in order to charge your phone. Don’t worry about these things killing your battery unless you don’t drive for like 2 or 3 weeks at a time. 3 day weekend is still no problem.

The Master pump has a garden hose size output.

Answer:	I think it would depend on what you are connecting. We bought it for our Garmin dash cam. The camera shuts down if the engine is off and automatically turns back on when the engine is cranked back up. Our GPS works the same way so I’d say no it doesn’t need to be unplugged and it will not run down your battery.
