Answer:	AMAZON SHOULD REMOVE THE FOLLOWING REVIEW that is listed in the 1 star reviews: “I bought this tape to hang a tie rack for my brother-in-law. The tie rack was heavy wood with numerous metal pegs for hanging a lot of ties (like, maybe, five dozen). The rack itself weighed less than 50 lbs., and the ties were silk. Since the mfr. stated the tape could hold up to 150 lbs., I figured we were golden. Just to be on the safe side, I used TWO pieces of the tape on the back of the rack (top and bottom) just to be sure, and pressed hard top and bottom to hang it. While I understood that installation on painted drywall would be permanent (I.e., not removable without damage), the mfr. DOES claim it will stick to ANY surface. NOT. Approximately 2.5 months later, the whole thing fell off the wall, ripping the paint and part of the drywall off. I will not use this product again.” To the reviewer, the mfr does not state anywhere this can hold anywhere close to 150 pounds. It’s more like 15 lbs. you are extremely lucky it held the rack for 2.5 months @ aprox 50 lbs. Answer:	Probably. I think it says on the packaging that you shouldn’t use it on Sheetrock. I used it on wood trim and a wood door. When I stuck a cut piece on my wood handrail for temporary it peeled a little of the wood off. OOPs I will probably have damaged trim. I also tried to keep a rubber backed runner rug from slipping around and when the rug slipped it pealed the rubber off that spot it was stuck to. It stayed on the floor pretty good though. The commercial on TV shows you can wash and reuse, but it didn’t wash easy and it wasn’t sticky enough to be useful again.
