| Answer: | It will if you have a significant difference, if that is the case, it will drill down to say Irish. For instance, my husband (who is from Ireland) was 99% British and Irish, and then drilled down to 99% Irish. I was 88% from Spain and Portugal (I'm from Portugal) and then drilled down to 88% Portugal. I never mentioned to them I was from Portugal so the fact that they determined that I was Portuguese and not Spanish or a mixture was a surprise. Now, if you only have a small percentage they may not be able to distinguish between the two groups. Hope this helped! |

Meaning these results might say you have zero Native ancestry even when you do have some. People who have their family tree well documented and live on reservations have had this happen, due to the comparison samples the companies use to test against. |
