Coverking developed a special high-density foam which has excellent insulation properties, and laminated it between two layers of Mylar. The outer layer is Mylar with an aluminized coating, which reflects virtually all UV rays. The inside layer is plain Mylar, which adds rigidity and protects the middle foam layer. These three layers work together to provide the best heat and UV reflection, insulate against heat, and withstand numerous folding and rolling while maintaining rigidity to hold it's shape while on the windshield.

Question:	Can you mount this without the swivel, directly to mirror
Answer:	Yes it has adhesive on both the swivel mount and on the mirror itself. That's the way I mounted it because the swivel actually created a blindspot (reflection of the back of the blindspot mirror). Works great.
Question:	The poor reviews complain about added mirror falling off? Have any responders had this trouble
Answer:	Pls clean your original car side mirror with alcohol or some other cleaning products. Press down HARD when the mirror is stick to the black pivot base (this is very important to prevent fall off), it is more firmly stick and will not fall off from the pivot base. Question:	How do you remove them if you want to
Answer:	Use hair dryer on hot until you can peel of the seal. Then take an alcohol wipe to remove the remaining adhesive.
Question:	how are these against drive thru car washes
Answer:	It (the swiveling mirror) tends to get knocked out of position after going through a car wash and getting it back to where I like it is a bit annoying sometimes, but that's all.

How to install: 1, Clean the surface of both exterior side mirrors with alcohol; 2, Press down hard for the blind spot mirror to the black pivot base; 3, Find the position, remove the sticky cover of swivel base, and stick to car side mirror with pressure for more than 20 seconds.

Where to install: You can basically place it anywhere, recommend upper outside of both side mirrors.

How to remove it (be carefully when remove it): 1, Use single edge razor to remove it and it will not scratch the glass on the mirror, and hair drier could help to remove it. 2, If there is any adhesive left after removal, nail polish remover or alcohol can remove the remaining adhesive.
