Question:	Why is the pricing so weird? It's actually 2x more in bulk! Did someone make a mistake? Sorry for the rhetorical question, silly vendor person
Answer:	It has to do with who the actual "seller" is. If you select a quantity of "1", in this case, it is "sold and fulfilled" by Amazon. If you select a quantity of "2" it is "sold" by another company while still being "fulfilled" by Amazon. Yes, both quantities are, as of this writing, "fulfilled" by Amazon but that just tells you that Amazon stores, packages, and ships both items(1 and 2 packs) even though there are, in reality, two different "sellers". If you click back and forth on the quantity selector you'll see the "sold by" name change. Look just under the price after you switch. The seller of the 2 pack sets the price whereas the seller of the 1 pack(Amazon) sets its own price. I'm sure Amazon buys the 1 pack in very large quantities and, therefore, can get a bigger discount, per piece, than the other "seller" can get, per piece, for the 2-pack.

Answer:	This is a generally safe product according to my research. Make sure to read the packaging and follow direction. (FOR INDOOR USE READ THE FOLLOWING) One lesson I learned the hard way: the sugary syrup is irresistible to ants, even though it is laced with poison. This means when you use Tarro, you're actually providing access to free food! The poison will work on the ants and it takes about 18-24 hours to kill them... but as you wait after 24 hours, Tarro syrup will attract other thriving colonies into your home. They'll follow the same rich trails laid behind by the previous colony and even scavenge on the carcases of the previously fallen colony. This cycle will continue, attracting ants from far away reaches and allowing them to setup massive colonies within your home. This is especially true with Argentine ants (available throughout the world), which form massive colonies with multiple queens - a trait unique to this type of ant, whereas others will battle for territory. So the lesson learned is simple... once the initial 1 or 2 swarms die down, remove all baits and all forms of food from open spaces in your home; patch up all openings in walls, baseboards, cracks around windows, etc; apply perimeter pesticide around your home; and look for signs of wandering ants in the next week. If you see more ants then you missed an opening and already have an established colony in your wall.... repeat!! Just don't leave out Tarro and keep replenishing, especially in the case of Argentine ants.
Question:	Is this safe to have around pets? I have a curious cat
Answer:	I'd say no. My cat knocked one of these over once and licked the syrup. She was fine but it wasn't a fun afternoon (trip to the vet, etc.). Terro sells a version of this that encloses the bait in plastic and has sticky squares to attach them to the floor, counter, or other surfaces. I use those instead now.
Question:	I have a baby in the house and I would like to use this product to kill ants in my house. Any precautions you suggest before I use this product
Answer:	The ant trails at my house sometimes go from the floor to the ceiling. I turn the bait so that the liquid will not run out and use Scotch tape to tape it to the wall next to the ant trail. I tape the bait high enough that babies and grand children cannot get to it. It usually takes two days for the ants to disappear. Then three days after they disappear, they return to the trap. Another two days and they disappear again. The second time they disappear is usually the last time I see them at that location.

How Liquid Ant Bait Works

How to Use Liquid Ant Baits

Answer:	Honestly, this was a waste of time and money. I set the traps and they did absolutely nothing for my ant problem. Either buy a different trap or a bug spray.

Question:	We haver grease eating ants. Is this the right product
Answer:	Terro says product is for "Attracting and killing all common household ants including Argentine ants, ghost ants, cornfield ants, pavement ants, acrobat ants, white footed ants, little black ants, odorous house ants and other sweet eating ants." Terro is a sweet bait; grease eating ants are attracted to protein. They might go for Terro; however if protein sources are still to be found in your house they will probably ignore the bait. I haven't had a problem with grease eating ants, but I understand that from folks who have that the Combat formula is better for attracting grease eating ants. You can also make your own baits for grease eaters by mixing boric acid (a white powder you can find in drugs stores or hardware stores) with peanut butter. Just make sure that the bait is out of reach of kids and animals (I have used boric acid/watermelon bait successfully with sweet-eating ants. However, it can only be used indoors, as sun dries it up and rain washes it away.) Good Luck!
Question:	Will this work on fire ants
Answer:	Yes absolutely I had the worst ant problem I have ever seen when I moved into my new home. They moved in because of a drought in Texas. The first two days I did not see much of a difference and was about to write a bad review, but I had to go out of town, I left and when I came back the next week there were no more ants, not a single one, in fact it has been almost a year and I still haven't seen one inside or outside since. This stuff is amazing. Also my dog ate 2 of the yard baits we were worried he would get sick but he was perfectly fine that's a plus also.
Question:	Will these work for carpenter ants
Answer:	Carpenter ants infest every tree on my property and I found them foraging inside the garage (very bad news). Mostly for the garage, but also because I have one very nice pin oak, I placed 2 of these just inside the garage door and at the base of the tree and within 1 month no more ants. So, I guess it works on carpenter ants. However, if you use the trap per the package instructions the carpenter ants are too large to enter. What you do instead is push down and rotate as instructed to puncture the internal pouch then very carefully lift the cup back up to its original position and snap it into place. This opens the trap all the way around an the carpenter ants can enter. I intend to buy more as it works on almost every ant on my property. And that's a lot of different types of ants. You might also try Bayer Advance 375A. Its a protein based poison and if the ants don't have a sweet tooth that day they go for it. The terro traps make excellent bait stations for the 375A once the liquid is gone.

Answer:	I did not see that as a problem. I saw very small ants getting to the bait. After a couple of days the ants were no longer around.

Answer:	I have used this product inside the house only - and that was on sugar ants. I have not tried it for fire ants, but I doubt it would be effective. Question:	Are these the same design as described (the original that worked well ) or are they the changed design mentioned in some recent negative reviews
Answer:	I received the new design. I personally like the new design, choosing to use the option of separating the perforated traps into smaller strips therefore increasing the number of locations to place a single strip. However, this new design also gives you the option to tent the strip as the original design. Terro is the only product I've found to successfully monitor and trap brown recluse spiders that are otherwise hard to kill even with harsh pesticides.
Question:	How big is each trap
Answer:	The standard tri-fold trap, prob 6” once folded.
Question:	Is fall season right time to leave traps outside home
Answer:	You can put thses outside but if they get wet they are cardboard. I use them in the house to spiders and such. These are the best!
Question:	How many traps per 12'x10' room? Or how many feet between traps do you recommend
Answer:	We do not have specific recommendations as to how many traps are needed per room as this would vary depending on the number of insects or infestation and where their favorite hiding spots may be. There is no limitation to how close together or far apart they should be. Simply place in the corners of the room, along walls, and in other areas where insects or spiders may crawl or make webs.

TERRO Spider & Insect Traps are a simple way to prevents pests in the home. Place out this easy-to-use and non-toxic trap essentially anywhere in the home and trap and kill a variety of pests. Place traps in common insect traffic areas and check occasionally for caught pests, discard when ready or when trap is full.

What is Included?
