Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Answer:	If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no.

Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Question:	i have a VoIP phone dedicated for work, that sits in an office and was previously connected via ethernet cable to my router. now, the router is in a different room (can't move it back) so i need to find an adapter for the back of my phone to replace the wired ethernet cable ... the goal is the wireless adapter is plug
Answer:	Simple answer, yes, you can do that. Longer answer, it depends. When you talk about introducing wireless with VoIP, you have many issues that need to be taken into consideration such as, quality of the signal, speed at which the adapter really connects to the router at, and interference. Just because you have full signal per the indicator, if it were connected to a computer, that does not mean the signal quality is good. I can be connected to a router at 5 bars but only 1Mbps yet, I can also have 1 or 2 bars with higher speeds. The best thing I can tell you to do is to purchase it and try it. It may work wonders for your setup and then again it may not. One thing I have to share however is the adapter I had died a week ago, but was already out of warranty. It would see the networks during configuration but would not connect to any of them. I have three separate wireless networks at my home and all three using different routers and it would not connect to any of them. I would probably look at a much better quality adapter for VoIP needs, especially if it is your primary phone for 911 services.
