Answer:	That is sort of a "yes" and a "no". The standard file folder fits, if the tab side faces out and is above the bottom level of the magazine holder(about 6 inches up from the bottom). Otherwise,the tab that is on the lower side of the magazine file will not be seen and will likely get bent...it is a tight fit. So if all your files are able to have the tabs face out and above that 6 inch depth, then you will have no problems and it should work. I have some file folders in mine, I just don't use all the files in a 3 or 5 tab cut folder package if I plan to use them in the magazine file holder. Hope that helps and that it makes sense.
