We have another model that folds to 13.5 inches which is a bit less expensive. I prefer the worm drive because it NEVER needs to be greased. ALL other systems require greasing every 90-120 days. Question:	do you sell outdoor stair lifts
Answer:	Stairchairs can be used to move patients up stairs where space for a stretcher is not available, but bear in mind that gravity is not your friend. Requires much more strength and control to go up than to go down. Patient size and weight will be a major factor and the strength and skill of the lifters will be a big limiter.
Question:	If I install it myself, do I lose the warranty
Answer:	I am not sure. All I know that we bought it for my mom so we could get her up and down the stairs and this one was one of the more sturdy ones. She was 5ft 5 170lbs she felt very safe in it.
Question:	Can you use it to send laundry up and down the stairs
Answer:	I don't recall if the specs give measurements for the base of the chair when opened, but it is in the size range of a largeish kitchen chair. The handles that you see projecting from the base in front would increase the space needed for chair, seated patient and two attendants, but if you need to pivot the chair the handles can be pushed back into their sockets, then reextended for a turn. Bear in mind that the chair should be tipped back onto the back wheels to make a turn, which will affect the situation's geometry. Also, the size of the patient will be of significance. Sorry I can't be more specific. Check youtube to see if there are any videos of stairchairs in use.

Answer:	i’m not sure, i use a disposable bed pad in mine for my mom! it does a great job! it is truly a life saver! it is made from very rugged material!

Answer:	It might be a little difficult to transfer to car. But with some maneuvering with a second or third person you might can do it.

Answer:	Yes. We have even used it to roll and place under an adult who had fallen. Then with one person on each side, move them to a sitting position and then lift them from the floor to a transfer chair. If you were to leave it underneath someone, I would use a pad or sheet to also cover for comfort and to prevent skin shearing or friction.

Answer:	I use mine to get up 13 steps and across to my college baseball seats. Two can carry me at 145 lbs. also great for getting on rides at Disney World. Used once to get in GMC Yukon so it should work with. 2 or 3 to help. I use a Hoyer lift so my wife can load me by herself but $$$$

Answer:	Assuming the "ground pool" you are referring to is the access path to a pool that has 3 steps. The chair should work just fine. The basic thing you need to know about the chair is the handles in the front can latch onto a high or a low position. When moving up/down stairs, latch the front handles at the low position. That will keep the chair leveled. When moving around a flat surface, latch the front handles at the high position. This allow the person in front to lift up the front leg and wheel the chair around. I have use this chair for a year and it works just as expected. I regularly move an elderly person who is about 110 lbs up and down two stories without a problem. The person at the back do more heavy lifting while the person in front keep the chair leveled.
