| Answer: | Yes, all reversible belts are adjustable for length; or to be more accurate adjustable for shortening. Example: if you needed the 48" size and it's sold out then buy the 50" or longer. When you get it remove the two holding screws in the buckle (requires a small Allen wrench or slot head typically), pull out the leather belting material, measure the belt to the shorter length you require, cut the extra length off the *buckle* end you just removed, place that cut off piece over the newly cut end and use it to mark where the new buckle "notch" will be and where the new screw holes will be. Cut the notch in the leather with any appropriate tool, push the newly notched area back into the buckle and put the screws back in place. I wouldn't make new little holes for where the screws go as they should easily screw into the leather material as typically this is only a bonded leather. If genuine full leather then you may need to score or "tap" new screw holes before screwing into the leather. Voilà, you now have a correctly sized Shorter belt from the longer sized one you bought because the shorter one was not available or sold out or ... |

| Answer: | Yes. The width of the belt in mm can be converted to inches by dividing by 25.4. A 35mm belt is 1.38" wide (or 1 3/8"). A 40mm belt is 1.57" wide (or 1 9/16"). |
