Answer:	I guess that all depends on what you are doing with it. Just the magnet itself stuck to a flat sheet of steel will hold firmly under a variety of conditions. If you are looking at attaching a sail, awning, canopy, or something else with a large surface area to it, it may not. Also, if you exceed the stated weight capacity, it's going to pull off. I'm not a magnet expert, so you'll be taking your chances with whatever application you use it for. I just got them for magnet fishing for the kids.
Question:	If I used one of these to pull on and one to stand on, could I climb a big beautiful wall made of steel slats
