Answer:	The thermometer is shown between the tweezers and the scissors. The "mercury" is yellow instead of red. Not particularly realistic. That being said, our 3 year old granddaughter has enjoyed HOURS of fun with this kit.

Answer:	Yes, the ear checker has a hole that goes all the way through so you can hold it up and see through it. No, the syringe is not spring loaded, however it does have a rubber gasket inside which gives it a kind of resistance.

Answer:	I think this set would be too young, though she may like the stethoscope. You might be better off going thrift store to buy a bag then fill it with flea market finds. Some things you can get at a Halloween shop like mask and stethoscope and lab coat or pharmacy like tongue depressions, bandage wraps, syringes, and other odds and ends.

The toy food has holes in it (like a bath toy) and I am a bit worried about spit getting in there and the toys getting mildewed/mold. We got them for our 4 year old, and he doesn’t quite understand not to put them in his mouth yet. I suppose they are made of safe ingredients because the box says ages 18 months + on it.

Jupiter is next-biggest after the sun, then Saturn. Uranus & Neptune are the same size. Earth & Venus are the same size. Mars is slightly smaller, then Mercury & Pluto are the smallest (& the moon which is as big as these two).
