Answer:	It's 2/5" between 1/4" and 1/2" but that is the size of the thumb tack and not the size of the actual bee. It is a standard size thumb tack and then the bee or other item will be larger. I have the small roses, flowers and butterflies. The bees look close to the small roses which are a little over a 1/2" across.

Answer:	Yes, each tube is sealed. It's basically a 4-pack of individual lip balms.
Question:	is this better then chapstick
Answer:	Yes it is, it relieves dry chapped lips quick with their beeswax and peppermint numbing sensation!! I used Carmex back in the late 80’s, regular brand chapstick for 25 years, and then switched to Burt’s around 2014. I started with this line here that is based on beeswax, vitamin E, and peppermint and I never looked back. My only mistake was that I thought all of there their lip balms were based on the same major ingredients with some flavors and I found that their moisturizing lip balms are more sunflower seed oil based than they are beeswax and instead of penetrating my lips for the relief I’m looking for I find that it feels like someone just took a mechanics grease gun and shellacked my lips with flavored oil slick. Soon after the slick has gone I have to lube up again and if you really have chapped lips it sucks. So now I just make sure to keep an eye on my stash of my Burts beeswax lip balms and make sure I’m not getting low because buying them in bulk pays off in the end. Good Luck!

Question:	Does this formula have the mint-y taste/smell/feeling like the original formula? How does this compare to original formula
Answer:	No mintiness at all. I've had the peppermint one before and that irritated my lips more than it helped them. This moisturizing formula seems to work well. It's more oily than a Chapstick where you get protection and healing from it's waxier content. This does tend to run off the lips easily and needs reapplied more often after sipping a beverage. I originally at first trying BB moisturizing thought it better than original or medicated Chapstick, but Ive changed my mind. The plus about this BB is that it adds shine to the lips and feels nourishing until it dries up or fades away from the lips. It's says it's 4 hour formula but I'd give it 30-40 minutes at best. Hope this helps you and others. :)

Our Story

Like all great ideas, Kathy’s started with a challenge – trying to find unique products for her paint studio and retail store in Lancaster, PA she owned with her mother for over 10 years.

Inspired by her desire for unique and creative items to fill her own shelves, Kathy took matters into her own hands, literally. She handmade the first 'primitive candle box' in 1997. Crafting the box by hand, taking care into each detail from the sanded edges to the type of ribbon tied on the wire handles, each was a work of passion.

Driven by her innate creativity and entrepreneurial spirit – the product that started it all was born.
