User questions & answers
Question: | Entirely Made in USA |
Answer: | Yes, mug is made in the USA. |
Question: | When filled with water and microwaved (for hot tea), will the cup be to hot to handle...thanks in advance |
Answer: | It is a ceramic mug, it would get as hot as any other coffee mug heated in the microwave, so I guess it depends on how hot you heat your water. I drink coffee mostly and it does not get too hot, but I also don't bring my coffee to a boil, just nice and toasty warm to drink. |
Product description
Originally titled Metrobolist, the album's name was changed at the last minute to The Man Who Sold The World -- the original stereo master tapes were in fact labeled Metrobolist, with the title ultimately crossed out. The 2020 re-release of the album under its Metrobolist moniker has been remixed by original producer Tony Visconti, with the exception of the track ‘After All’ which Tony considered perfect as is, and is featured in its 2015 remaster incarnation.

Mick Rock
"I experienced David Bowie above all as a piece of living artwork, constantly modulating and mutating like a series of startling reflections in a cracked mirror. He was fascinating: Ziggy Stardust was a new breed of rock ’n’ roll operative, a rogue hitman with his own agenda, a post-modern heartthrob with destiny on his mind, a dreamer of Dada with glitter in his soul. He was the Scarlet Pimpernel in fabulous drag. He was what the times needed and a whole lot more."

Masayoshi Sukita
"Whatever was happening to David in his personal life, he never showed it in front of the camera. His strength and humility always shone through in images, that was the bottom line, and it’s something that I will always remember.
And if I had to choose a highlight? Every time I shot David was a career highlight. He is, and always will be, my favourite subject."

Terry O'Niell
"Bowie’s manager rang and asked if I was available to do some additional work with Bowie, this time in a studio environment. Everyone was quite happy with what I did at the Marquee and David needed stills for his new album they were just finishing off, called Diamond Dogs."

Steve Schapiro
"Working with David Bowie always pushed me to unexpected and appreciated creative experiences. A shared love for Buster Keaton probably cemented our relationship. Bowie wanted to hear all the stories about the times I worked with his idol: Keaton
Being a special photographer on The Man Who Fell To Earth produced many iconic images: magazines, books and album covers. However, the story I really want to tell is about the first photo shoot I did with David Bowie in 1974."

Denis O'Regan
"I was unprepared for David’s warmth and humour, and the enthusiasm with which he invited me to capture his every move – onstage, offstage, backstage, travelling, out with friends, and just the two of us alone. David was generous with his time and gracious under pressure. In 1987, I toured the world again with David on his ‘Glass Spider’ tour. No photographer has ever spent more time with him; and I treasure those times."

Marcus Klinko
"Towards the end of his life, Bowie put out a few music videos and I directed him in the 2013 video for the track ‘Valentine’s Day’. We talked about a new major photoshoot at that time, but very sadly, he passed away before we had a chance to make it happen.”
