Answer:	They mean the side that was stuck to the plastic! That side is smoother and shinier. Make sure your skin is pretty wet before you apply it, I would advise steaming it with a hot towel to open up your pores. It won't stick as well if there isn't enough water.

Answer:	I honestly don't think it's that strong if you're saying it's stubborn. I mean it does work and you see all the white heads when you lift it but it doesn't take it all completely. I would look for the Black Head Biore one.

Answer:	I am not sure if they remove fine hairs, I would say "maybe". I do know I have used these now several times and if I had to guess, they only remove about 30% of what is there. I guess it depends on the individual person, skin type, etc. But they only work very slightly for me.
