Answer:	So I don’t know if it’s too late to replace the unit, however I purchased it and in the beginning I felt the same way. If you use hot water to wet the towels and wring them out, after about an hour the towels are piping hot. I also notice that the more towels you put in the hotter they get. Hope that helps.

Answer:	OmGAWD YAS! In fact I have to use my tongs to remove the towels. I like to wet my towels and fold them up when I put them in. Yes, they get hot enough to use for shaving. Use only distilled water the directions say and make sure to keep water filled. I love mine!

Answer:	As long as you don't put water in it. Water will dissolve the salt stone... you can use a small electric frying pan and add small amount of base oil, place your salt stone in. use on low setting (save you the expense)

Answer:	I’m sure that you can warm a dry towel however, that is not what the towel warmer is designed to do. It is the moisture in the cloth that allows the warmer to heat the towels. The warmer will not get the towels very hot without moisture
