Answer:	I got mine to sit at a regular-height desk (wanted to be able to tuck it under the desk when not in use). I raised it all the way up when I got it, and while it was too tall to sit at the desk at full height, I don't think it would be tall enough to comfortably do dishes. I would check it out for you, but, i had a tough time getting it to go back down to the height I need. I wouldn't say it is the best quality item I have ever purchased, which may be why the seat doesn't like going back down. Perhaps it doesn't like my 115 lbs in weight. I really had to lean on it, but once I did that, it went right back down.

Question:	Do any of the stools roll on carpet
Answer:	It has small 2" plastic wheels. It would roll on office-type carpet but probably not on deep shag.
Question:	How do you get the plastic cap off the hydraulic piece
Answer:	I guess I never had a problem because I don't remember. SORRY
Question:	How do I put the wheels on? The instructions are not very helpful and the wheels won’t pop into place
Answer:	Need more force they will pop into place. A light hammer blow straight on will do it.

Answer:	Yes they could be used without the casters.
Question:	Is this synthetic (man made) OR from animal skin? Or both
Answer:	Synthetic. The worst made chair ever. It broke putting it together. It has plastic components that are the most important piece of the chair. I asked to return it and no reply from the seller. It was so poorly manufactured that I threw it out. I got tired of seeing it waiting for the seller to send a shipping label. Do not purchase.

Answer:	Just got mine... seat size is fine. Feels comfortable. I too am about 220 lbs. It probably would not be adequate for anyone over 220 - 230 lbs.
