Answer:	I would suggest checking here on Amazon for "Command" brand stick ups. They come in all shapes and types and can be removed without damage to most surfaces. I use them everywhere since they are inexpensive and work great.

Answer:	I just looked the mirror up by red apples, I don’t see one thing that makes them different from each other .. their dang near identical. I don’t recall seeing that one when I got this. CLEAN SHAVE EVERYTIME

ANTI-FOG COATING

Each Shower Mirror is coated in an anti-fog film. The film prevents hot water vapor sticking to the mirror's surface and causing it to fog up. Even if one mirror is foggy, this one will not!

STEP 1: CLEAN SURFACE

Make sure to thoroughly clean surface to remove any dirt. After cleaning, dry the surface with a dry towel. See above for recommended surfaces (the smoother the surface the better the suction cup will stick).

STEP 2: PUT IN PLACE

Lightly wet the bottom of the suction cup to create a good seal. Make sure the suction is set to the unlocked position. Then, put it in the desired location. The suction cup might not stick right away so keep constant pressure on it until the next step.

STEP 3: LOCK SUCTION CUP

While applying pressure, lock the suction cup in place by rotating the white ring around the base clockwise. If the mirror does not stick then try again carefully cleaning the surface and applying more pressure when locking. Over time the suction cup will slowly let air back in, just give it a good push every once in a while to keep it in place.

REMOVING

Removal is even simpler. Simply untwist the lock by rotating the white ring counter-clockwise. The suction cup should fall off by itself. However, if it doesn't, then simply pull it off by pulling on the small tab on the top.

To mount the hook please follow these tips (and absolutely not meant to insult in any way), * Make sure the area you plan to stick the hook is clean and dry. Typical shower residue (soap residue, conditioner splatter, moisture, etc.) will impede the adhesion of the hook. * Clean the surface with isopropyl rubbing alcohol, wipe gently, let dry. Do not use household cleaners. Many household cleaners leave behind a very thin layer of residue that affects how strongly the adhesive will bond to the surface. * Once you have cleaned to area you plan to stick the mirror, please allow enough time for this area to completely dry (remember tile is porous and will absorb moisture). This is the main reason that a hook will fail to adhere. As such, please wait a couple of hours after cleaning the wall to place the hook.* When applying the hook to your shower, please try applying constant pressure on it for 10-15 seconds in the clean, dry spot. * For best results, let the adhesive "set" for 24 hours before hanging the mirror on the hook. Question:	How to adjust mirror? I feel like I have to force it to angle up or down, almost sounds like the plastic is going to snap. Am I missing something
Answer:	The user simply must pivot the mirror up and down. It snaps into pre-set positions, thus the feeling that you have to force it. Question:	How bright are the lights? Can you easily see face and neck to get a good shave
Answer:	The lights are fairly bright & there are 2 of them on each side of the rectangle so there's good visibility. The lights in our bathroom do overwhelm the little LEDs so I don't really need the mirror lights so much. The product might be a bit better if it provided some level of magnification.
Question:	Does the mirror attach securly to all types of bathroom tile? The tile in our bathroom is more textured than average, so I'm worried it won't stay
Answer:	We have a smooth hard plastic surface. I had it on the wall for awhile, but it did fall off. Not instantly or anything, but I think the heat and moisture from the showers might play into factor. I really love this mirror and so did my boyfriend. We just haven't found time to scrap the old glue off and reglue it to the wall. It did leave a bit of discoloration on the wall around the glue. I'm sure some soft scrub with bleach will clean it up. Answer:	Yes - I’m not sure if it’s a random batch issue, or if it’s a property of the reflective material they’re using instead of glass - but I just got mine a few days ago and it’s clearly a little distorted vs. a real mirror. It’s 100% fine for me to get a quick look of my face in the shower and to touch up the edges of my beard. But I wouldn’t recommend using it to *establish* any straight edges.

The anti-fog coating of our mirror will provide a duration of effectiveness for about 12 months, depends on the users’ environment and care. Please follow the instructions below while using the mirror:

 

1.Install the mirror away from the shower-head to prevent high temperature hot water or high water pressure that may damage the anti-fog coating.

About the Suction Cups:

1.Remove the protective film on the mirror surface. Extra cleaning is not needed before use.

2.Press the suction cup firmly in place, making sure there are no air bubbles in between the cup and the mounting surface.

3.Avoid sticking the suction cup on tiles with gap in between.

Answer:	Please find the instruction for your reference, thanks. Remove the dust or dirt from the wall surface with clean before installing the mirror. To achieve best result, press the mirror frame against the wall for 30 seconds. Make sure all air bubbles between the cup and the wall has escaped to create a vacuum. Thanks.
Question:	How do you get all three suction cups to attach at one time
Answer:	My shower wall is flat, so just stick it. But I noticed the cups are positioned so they would all hit an individual tile depending on the tile size. Mine are 4x4.

Answer:	I would have to estimate that the mirror is 4x6 inches.
Question:	My biggest problem with previous brands of fog free mirrors is that they fall off the wall...adhesives and suctions. How does this one hold up
Answer:	I have had no issues with the adhesive hook at all. It is about half a square foot to the bottom right of my shower head. So water doesn't spray on it but it definitely gets on it when I rinse the mirror to get the temp to adjust and defog.The only issue I have is its not reusable so you need to be sure of where you want it. I bought suction cups too to be able to move it sometimes. The suction cups I bought don't hold the mirror because of the condensation and temp change in the air. But thats my fault for thinking they would work. The hook is as good as a 3M adhesive hook for anywhere in the home. Reliable.
Question:	How is the hook attached and (eventually) removed from the shower wall
Answer:	Attached by way of two way tape; removed by prying it off. I recommend using a 3M easy removal hook instead.

Question:	My reflection in the mirror is Warped, like a funhouse mirror. Does anyone else have that issue
Answer:	No but I had to re position the mirror as it was partially out of the frame ( and therefore warped) It clicks back into place. That may be your issue

Answer:	The overall size is 8 1/4" high by 6" wide. The actual mirror is 7 1/4 h by 5" w. My husband is very happy with his "shaving mirror". It has been stuck to his shower wall (tile) for 3 weeks and has not budged and he even has a smaller mirror hanging on one of the bottom hooks! These are great products. Highly recommend them!!
Question:	Will it work if it has to cross the grout line of tile
Answer:	Mounting over grout lines will not allow the suction cup to seat properly and stick to the wall. As with any item that uses suction cups, they need to be mounted on a clean, smooth, non-porous surface such as glass, fiberglass and glazed ceramic.

Answer:	Just use the hot water coming out of your shower. It works great.

Answer:	the hole is in the corner which is great to keep excess water off on it. It is a good piece but it DOES fog up!!
Question:	Is the mirror recyclable or does it need to go into a landfill when it reaches the end of its life
Answer:	Yes, the mirror is recyclable. One of the features of its simple design is that the entire mirror can be dropped in recycling since it is a group 7 recyclable. We recycle all of our scraps after the manufacturing process. Just check to see if your recycling company will recycle group 7 recyclables. The clad versions could easily last a lifetime but if and when it is time to retire them they can be recycled.
Question:	Color: Unclad vs. the colored ones? Why would you want a colored mirror? Does the cladding provide any value to the user
Answer:	The clad back protects the mirror back from scratches which can degrade the reflection. Mirror On A Rope mirrors went through years of testing and they are designed to last for years. The back also adds thermal mass to extend the fog free time. The mirror can be hung from shower curtain rods etc. so depending on how you use it the back is often visible.

STEP 1: LOCATE A DRY SURFACE AND WIPE THOROUGHLY

After locating an even and dry surface, wipe thoroughly surface to remove any dirt and moisture. Make sure desired surface is completely dry and without any bumps or gaps before installing mirror. See below for recommended surfaces.

STEP 2: PLACE SUCTION AGAINST DRY SURFACE

Place suction cup firmly against desired flat and dry surface. Make sure you keep constant pressure on the suction cup before proceeding to the next step. Please note, unlike classic suction cups, our suction cup is secured only after "locking" the suction. If you try to stick the suction without locking, your mirror will most absolutely fall.

STEP 3: LOCK SUCTION CUP

With the suction cup firmly against a dry and flat surface, lock the suction by rotating the knob clockwise (i.e to the right) until you hear or feel a click sound. Congratulations, your shower mirror is now ready to use!

STEP 4: UNLOCK SUCTION (OPTIONAL)

If you need to remove the mirror from the wall, simply rotate the suction knob all the way to the left or counter-clockwise to unlock.
