Installing

• Clean the surface to remove any dirt, then dry it with a dry towel.
• Lightly wet the bottom of the suction cup to create a good seal. Make sure the suction is set to the unlocked position. Then, put it in the desired location.
• After applying pressure, lock the suction cup by rotating the white ring around the base clockwise.

Removing

• Untwist the lock by rotating the white ring counter-clockwise. The suction cup should fall off by itself. Otherwise, pull it off by pulling on the small tab on the top.

Answer:	I don’t use it in the shower, but I suppose you could as long as you suction it to a very dry surface. The section on it is very strong. Also keep in mind that there are batteries in the mirror so you might want to place it away from the stream of the shower so that it doesn’t get wet. I hope this helps.

Question:	How do you install? Directions suck
Answer:	Pretty easy installation...I didn’t see any directions. Regardless, remove the round mounting frame from the mirror base..looks like a circle with slots in it. I believe it was attached to the mirror base with the thumb nuts. You’ll want to attach that mounting frame to the wall where you want the mirror. Position the screws where the thumb nuts were at 12 oclock and 6 oclock so that the base arm will fold out as you want it. Then use the provided screws or hollow wall anchors using any of the slots in the mounting bracket. Remove the top mirror panel by twisting to the left and pulling up to add 4 AAA batteries. Black toggle switches at the top and bottom to turn on the light

Based on what msab suggested, I went to my mirror and placed my face close to the mirror then slowly moved it further away. Indeed, at a certain distance my face went upside down! So, her suggestion to use the mirror for close up work only is correct. The only other thing I can think of as an issue is perhaps you purchased a mirror with too strong of magnification. I have very strong reading glasses. Perhaps a 10X mirror would work for you.

Answer:	It will stick very well and stay until you remove it. I stuck one on a bathroom mirror when I was traveling for over a week and it stayed solidly adhered the entire time. Answer:	It looks like nickle plated or stainless steel. Ours is installed directly across from the shower, about 3 feet from the shower, 5 feet from the floor. Not a spot of rust on it after one year. The bathroom is pretty well ventilated, but still gets steamed up when using the shower so I'm sure the mirror gets condensation on it once in a while. BTW, the previous mirror (which sat on the counter, NOT this mirror) did rust out after 15 years, so this mirror is doing well in the same general location. So far this mirror has been solid, it is rust-free and the mechanical pivots are moving freely.
