STEP 1: CLEAN SURFACE

Make sure to thoroughly clean surface to remove any dirt. After cleaning, dry the surface with a dry towel. See above for recommended surfaces (the smoother the surface the better the suction cup will stick).

STEP 2: PUT IN PLACE

Lightly wet the bottom of the suction cup to create a good seal. Make sure the suction is set to the unlocked position. Then, put it in the desired location. The suction cup might not stick right away so keep constant pressure on it until the next step.

STEP 3: LOCK SUCTION CUP

While applying pressure, lock the suction cup in place by rotating the white ring around the base clockwise. If the mirror does not stick then try again carefully cleaning the surface and applying more pressure when locking. Over time the suction cup will slowly let air back in, just give it a good push every once in a while to keep it in place.

REMOVING

Removal is even simpler. Simply untwist the lock by rotating the white ring counter-clockwise. The suction cup should fall off by itself. However, if it doesn't, then simply pull it off by pulling on the small tab on the top.

Do not use household cleaners. Many household cleaners leave behind a very thin layer of residue that affects how strongly the adhesive will bond to the surface. * Once you have cleaned to area you plan to stick the mirror, please allow enough time for this area to completely dry (remember tile is porous and will absorb moisture). This is the main reason that a hook will fail to adhere. Question:	My biggest problem with previous brands of fog free mirrors is that they fall off the wall...adhesives and suctions. How does this one hold up
Answer:	I have had no issues with the adhesive hook at all. It is about half a square foot to the bottom right of my shower head. So water doesn't spray on it but it definitely gets on it when I rinse the mirror to get the temp to adjust and defog.The only issue I have is its not reusable so you need to be sure of where you want it. I bought suction cups too to be able to move it sometimes. The suction cups I bought don't hold the mirror because of the condensation and temp change in the air. But thats my fault for thinking they would work. The hook is as good as a 3M adhesive hook for anywhere in the home. Reliable.

Answer:	Yes - I’m not sure if it’s a random batch issue, or if it’s a property of the reflective material they’re using instead of glass - but I just got mine a few days ago and it’s clearly a little distorted vs. a real mirror. It’s 100% fine for me to get a quick look of my face in the shower and to touch up the edges of my beard. But I wouldn’t recommend using it to *establish* any straight edges.

STEP 1: LOCATE A DRY SURFACE AND WIPE THOROUGHLY

After locating an even and dry surface, wipe thoroughly surface to remove any dirt and moisture. Make sure desired surface is completely dry and without any bumps or gaps before installing mirror. See below for recommended surfaces.

STEP 2: PLACE SUCTION AGAINST DRY SURFACE

Place suction cup firmly against desired flat and dry surface. Make sure you keep constant pressure on the suction cup before proceeding to the next step. Please note, unlike classic suction cups, our suction cup is secured only after "locking" the suction. If you try to stick the suction without locking, your mirror will most absolutely fall.

STEP 3: LOCK SUCTION CUP

With the suction cup firmly against a dry and flat surface, lock the suction by rotating the knob clockwise (i.e to the right) until you hear or feel a click sound. Congratulations, your shower mirror is now ready to use!

STEP 4: UNLOCK SUCTION (OPTIONAL)

If you need to remove the mirror from the wall, simply rotate the suction knob all the way to the left or counter-clockwise to unlock.

Answer:	I haven't tried it on a porous tile but my user guide says the suction cup works only on clean, smooth and flat surfaces. So I don't believe it will work on a porous tile.
