Question:	I used this sponge 3 times and rinsed off w/ warm water & air dried after every use & the material's already breaking down. Am I cleaning it wrong
Answer:	Facial soaps break down the sponge quicker and definitely if it is face wash that fights acne. I would never use dish soap; dish soap dries the average person hands out so imagine what it can do to a soft sponge that does not heal after you wash it again and again. A mild hand soap or invest in liquid makeup remover for products. I have a spray bottle made to remove the makeup off brushes and sponges (they will say on the bottle if it is okay for sponges). Even my cheapest sponges last a few weeks using this method. Currently, I am using one from Ulta Beauty brand was $10 but is 10 ounces I think so not too horrible of a price (still it is $10 so if not try mild hand soap).
Question:	how long does it last
Answer:	I bought mine in August 2016, used it pretty much every day, clean it a couple times a week (warm water and hand soap/baby soap, squeeze dry with towel) and it just now (7months later) started falling apart. It got a few small cracks a couple months ago but not enough to warrant buying a new one. I'd say as long as you're gentle when cleaning it, it will be useable for at least 4-5 months.

Answer:	If it's antimicrobial, warm water and soap should be fine. Please don't use it on someone with open sores and them yourself. Someone wirh terrible acne will have a lot of bacteria on their face. Not all acne is bacterial, but anytime the skin is breached it's prone to bacteria. I'd share with family wirh no open skin or people you feel comfortable with. I assume everyone washes their face before makeup! Huh? :)

Answer:	You put it in a bowl with water and a little soap and microwave it for 30 to 45 sec. That draws out the dirt from it. You then squeeze it in your hand to draw out the rest of the dirt. I soak mine in clean water after rinsing it a little under warm water and then I squeeze the water out and lay it on a paper towel to dry. Comes out looking new.
