Answer:	A toner is used following washing the face. It's purpose is to restore face to neutral after washing and cleansing of skin. Typically, toners are not drying but more moisturizing (unless noted by manufacturers). Washing can open the pores and toning is supposed to close pores prior to serums and moisturizers. Supposedly, some cleansers can be stripping of oils & such and toners balance this process and once you begin using it you'll notice a difference, especially if you STOP using the product. A bottle will last 6 months. I have used Estee Lauder toners for 15 years and now use this product. It works well for me at a quarter of the price. Good luck & hope it helps.

Answer:	Hi there. It doesn't specifically say on the bottle what type skin it is for but I can tell you personally I have combination/ oily skin and this is the only toner I cannot live without. I actually had pretty much given up on toners until trying this on a whim because it didn't contain alcohol. I absolutely love this stuff. I've tried the Neutrogena Pore Minimizing toner and it dries my skin out horribly. I also tried the Oil of Olay oil minimizing toner and it was alright but I could only use it once a day and still at times it would dry out my skin. This is the only toner that hasn't dried my skin out and I use it in the morning after washing my face and again at night after washing my face. This is amazing toner, and I swear by it. It leaves your face feeling clean and refreshed but never dry and tight ( the uncomfortable dry tight ) it leaves skin super soft and has a pleasant smell. I highly recommend it. I hope this helps.

Answer:	No you do not wash it off. After the toner I use the Neutrogena pore refining moisturizer. I also use the Neutogena Pore Refining cleanser. All 3 products are great

Answer:	It helps. I've actually stopped using this product. My skin is congested and I found that by switching skin products to Dermalogica - my skin is much clearer. If they are to be believed, their products have no dyes, perfumes, artificial ingridients. At any rate, for now they are working for me. Best way to test is to buy inexpensive travel packs on Amazon - usually come in packs of 12. Prick with pin and the product in one of these testers can last 3 days. If I can I'll ask for samples form my local beauty supply store before buying. I do use Neutrogena products - but was not happy when I purchased moisture gel creme and it was blue and had a scent. Good luck!I would like to add that r - unless it has changed dramatically since I last purchased, - it does NOT have microdermarasion beads - it is not grainy, it is liquid toner.

Answer:	Let's get this straight - it is NOT a treatment for blackheads. Learn the difference. As for pores, YES it does make them smaller, i.e. "refined". Blackheads are already clogged pores so while this product may reduce what's already clogged, it's meant to be a preventative to those of us who are more at risk to the blackheads, since we have larger pores in which any and everything has the chance to get into and get clogged up.

Answer:	No. I got a bottle that was obviously previously opened and very dirty (like it was fished out of the trash) and the liquid inside WAS NOT the toner that I’ve been buying and using for years.
