Answer:	I am traveling with my new bag and do not have exact measurements but it has a much smaller main compartment than most. It has smaller bottom compartment with 3 dividers. It sits much higher than most and is narrower. A little difficult to fit everything comfortably vs standard kits.

Answer:	The bag I recently purchased is 9.5” wide and zips open on both the front and back sides. Front side (the side w extra zip pocket) is roomy enough to hold a small hand mirror, 2 hair brushes, 2 combs, regular sized pump hairspray, a lint roller and an extra claw, plus more small items in the 3 pouches on lid. Back zip space is flat but can also hold things like hair clips, extra combs, scrunchies, barrettes, etc. I’m super pleased with mine.
