The height of the boot is 26 inches, measure that against your legs to see how high it is on you. Then measure your thigh right were 26 inches stops on you. The top opening of the boot is 14 inches, if your over or under maybe a inch or two, I think you can get away with it. The boots has a little stretch on the calf and thigh and it does have elastic behind the thighs for extra room. Also since the store has free returns, you really can't go wrong if you don't mind the wait to exchange :)

A "chunky," 3" inch heel, if you've never tried them, is not like walking on a "wedge," or "peg," heel. You're very solid on the ground. You won't twist an ankle wearing them. Hope this helps!
