I can definitely say it IS VERY firm but it’s something you’ll get used to after the first session with it. It’s a big difference from the medium brush but the results speak for themselves. I’m also a coarse hair waver so that might change YOUR perspective

Answer:	i can't answer that but mine burned my hair. The temperature would not regulate after a while and got really hot! I did not notice this until after my hair was burned. Tossed it! Not a salon quality hot iron.
