Answer:	My entire purpose for purchasing this was so I could wear to the beach as a moisturizer and sunscreen it is in credibly sticky and goes on exactly like sunscreen does very white but even trying to cover with make up the moisturizer was just too sticky. Answer:	If you have oily skin, this would probably be enough moisture before putting on makeup. If you need a little more, apply your moisturizer before sunscreen, and then put on your makeup. For me, after washing my face, I use a splash of rose water, followed by vitamin C serum, then this DRMTLGY moisturizing sunscreen, and then I put on a little make up to even out my skin tone.

Answer:	This leaves a shiny look immediately after putting it on but, for me, after about 10 minutes, it sinks in and looks more dewy if anything. If you generally have a more oily face it might make your face look shiny but for minimally oily to normal faces it gives you more of a glow. I don't wear full face makeup so I don't know how it sits, I just know how it looks on me barefaced.

Zinc Oxide sunscreen works differently than chemical sunscreens. Zinc Oxide is a mineral (physical) sunscreen that works by sitting on top of the skin to reflect, deflect and scatter damaging UV rays away from the skin. - Chemical sunscreens contain carbon-based compounds, such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate and avobenzone. These ingredients create a chemical reaction that changes UV rays into heat within your skin.

What is non-nano zinc oxide?

Our formula uses non-nanoparticle zinc oxide. Nanoparticles can enter our bloodstream, and there is currently controversy about the safety of using a ‘clearer’ version of zinc oxide which is nanoparticle in size. If the zinc oxide is truly non-nanoparticle the sunscreen lotion will be white, and even when properly and thoroughly applied you will be able to see a light white cast, some white shadowing, and what you are seeing is the light (and UV rays) reflecting, deflecting, and scattering off the non-nano zinc oxide. The white shadowing is your friend, it is there protecting you!

Please note: this is our 4-ounce economy size. If you are flying to Hawaii - put this tube in your checked luggage as the TSA (airport security) bottle size limit for carry-on liquids is 3.4 ounces.

Reflect and deflect the UV rays with zinc oxide, versus having chemical sunscreens absorb into and reacting within your skin.

Note: there is a foil safety-seal that needs to be removed before use.

Is it sunscreen or sunblock? Sunblock is the proper term when referring to mineral Zinc Oxide, a physical sunblock. Sunscreen is the term commonly used for it all - so we use both terms.

Answer:	First wipe with a little oil. I like coconut. Then wash with whatever cleansing product you like for your skin type (sometimes I use bar soap, sometimes just warm water) and a washcloth.

Question:	Is this vegan
Answer:	That depends of your skin type. You have to see if you are oily, dry, combination dry or combination oily. There are many oils for diferente uses. Almond is for dry skin, argan is more for mix dry skins, rose hip oil is good for mix oily skin. Most recipes are for dry skin. I will suggest, read and learn about the oils. Grape seed oil is good for oily skin. I mix my oxide with rose hip oil and a few drops of grape seed oil. I have acne and rosacea acne. I mix enough for 4 days to keep it fresh. Good luck.

Answer:	Doesn’t seem to be the same formula at all. I like them both but prefer the ease of application of the tin. The stick is fairly hard, which the tin is creamy.
