Answer:	Yes. It’s just marketing, though with the Aveeno kids & baby ones, they are more careful about not putting in questionable ingredients (they have a few, but not as bad), plus they actually have much better UVA protection & balance to the SPF factor, than the other Aveeno products. (means better protection from cancer.) Better for everyone, no matter your age. Search EWG Skin Deep for their sunscreen guide for more info. I think the kids and baby formulas may be the same, but you know, some kids don’t want their sunscreen to say “baby.”

Years of doing laundry makes me think that oxy products, stain removers, or Murphy's Oil Soap might help remove the mineral based products. They're tough. Some soaking may be involved. Answer:	I have done extensive research on sunscreen with lots of trial and error. This is, hands down, the safest and most effective sunscreen on the market (if used properly). It specifically says "BPA free" (along with parabens, etc...) in terms of product ingredients. All plastic tubes will have some chemical (some studies suggest non BPA chemicals can be even more harmful) that will leach especially when heated. This is likely why there is a reminder on the bottle to keep it out of heat or direct sun. You cannot avoid this with any sunscreen. This is a great sunscreen and I trust it on my kids. But, it has to be applied correctly, and often, in the summer - just like any sunscreen. Hope this helps.

UVA & UVB Broad-Spectrum

Consumers have been led to believe that ultra-high SPF numbers like 70 and 100 provide much more protection than SPF 30. This is False. SPF 30 provides 97% protection from UVB and SPF 100 provides 99% coverage for UVB. We tell folks if you look at the back of the tube and you see a bunch of words you don’t recognize, you probably don’t want to put that on your skin. It is important that you’re using a truly Broad-spectrum formula that covers UVA and UVB.

Mineral Based Formula

Chemical sunscreens make up the majority of the market unfortunately. They are both cheap and apply clear. Mineral based solutions can cause some amount of whitening during use and are also more expensive. But at what cost is it cheaper. Some mineral base formulations have also taken to using clear zinc or nano particle sized zinc or titanium. We recommend sourcing a non-nano zinc oxide solution. There is just not enough data on the ability for nano particles getting into the blood stream. As such, it is better to embrace the Precautionary principle.

Water Resistant

There are now three levels of water resistance. Not water resistant, water resistant (40 minutes) and water resistant (80 minutes). We have all become used to seeing words like sweatproof or waterproof. There are now very specific tests. Keep in mind, that if you’re at the beach or pool that you’ll need to reapply after being in the water. And to achieve the SPF factor of your sunscreen you have to reapply every two hours. One application does not keep you at SPF 50 or whatever is on the sunscreen label. And you should be using about 1oz to cover an adult body.

Tips for Application

1. Be sure to apply all areas that will be exposed to sunlight, including behind the ears, neck, hands, feet, and scalp 15 minutes before sun exposure.
2. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.
3. While the sunscreen applies very easily, we recommend not spreading it too thin. Otherwise you will decrease the effectiveness of the sunscreen.

Answer:	No, this is not an aerosol can - it pumps out a whipped lotion sunscreen.

Answer:	You have to twist the cap to align the arrow on the cap with the opening at the base - it's a safety feature that won't allow the product to spill out unintentionally. Look around the yellow cap, and you will notice an arrow and an indentation that will align with the arrow - putting them together will allow you to push down on the top so that product comes out. Answer:	Well the active ingredients list yes, inactive ingredients no. I looked this up because I thought the same. Active and inactive ingredients BOTH matter. Active ingredients in sunscreen products are considered drugs by the government and are required to be listed first. But this and the adult stick don't have the same inactive ingredients which both can matter. Just because an ingredient isn't in the first 5 inactive list doesn't even mean the ingredient isn't useful. So I would contact Nutrogena or look into it further especially if buying for a child. As an adult, since the product is for me, it doesn't matter to me LOL I just want more for my money. Hope this was helpful.

Answer:	Using this on vacation it has left white residue on clothing and bathing suites, especially if I apply it while wearing said items. If you apply the lotion first, let it dry, then get dressed, the issue is not as bad. All the residue washed out when the clothing is cleaned in a washing machine, but it remained "stained" even after being in and out of the pool.
Question:	Does it feel greasy on the skin after applying? Is the smell strong
Answer:	It's a heavy lotion...but not really greasy...it smells like a typical copper tone product.
