Answer:	No, it does not come with an adhesive strip. I received a pacakage that has a green plastic cover and it doesn't come with a self adhesive strip. The image shows the product in purple plastic package, identical to the ones I had received from the hospital and those had a self adhesive strip. Having used one with adhesive strip (from the hospital) and one purchased from Amazon without the adhesive strip, I would say that the adhesive strip would not help much because it still would move around a little bit. Answer:	I've used it in Hawaii at 80 degrees F and never had any issues with it getting watery. It has held up well.

Answer:	I’m not sure because of the homosalate at 10%. I think homosalate at 15% is a possible skin irritant. I have never had a problem with this sunscreen though, never burned or had skin irritations. I tend to have very sensitive skin. Hope this helped!

Answer:	Yes. SunBum is reasonably non-greasy. We used it on our faces while we were in Jamaica fo 11 days. It never bothered our skin, yet it prevented us from burning the entire time. We applied it twice a day, faithfully, including to our faces. My wife likes the scent, and the bottle was convenient to carry along in her small beach bag.

UVA & UVB Broad-Spectrum

Consumers have been led to believe that ultra-high SPF numbers like 70 and 100 provide much more protection than SPF 30. This is False. SPF 30 provides 97% protection from UVB and SPF 100 provides 99% coverage for UVB. We tell folks if you look at the back of the tube and you see a bunch of words you don’t recognize, you probably don’t want to put that on your skin. It is important that you’re using a truly Broad-spectrum formula that covers UVA and UVB.

Mineral Based Formula

Chemical sunscreens make up the majority of the market unfortunately. They are both cheep and apply clear. Mineral based solutions can cause some amount of whitening during use and are also more expensive. But at what cost is it cheaper? Some mineral base formulations have also taken to using clear zinc or nano particle sized zinc or titanium. We recommend sourcing a non-nano zinc oxide solution. There is just not enough data on the ability for nano particles getting into the blood stream. As such, it is better to embrace the Precautionary Principle.

Water Resistant

There are now three levels of water resistance. Not water resistant, water resistant (40 minutes) and water resistant (80 minutes). We have all become used to seeing words like sweatproof or waterproof. There are now very specific tests. Keep in mind, that if you’re at the beach or pool that you’ll need to reapply after being in the water. And to achieve the SPF factor of your sunscreen you have to reapply every two hours. One application does not keep you at SPF 50 or whatever is on the sunscreen label. And you should be using about 1oz to cover an adult body.

Tips for Application

1. Be sure to apply all areas that will be exposed to sunlight, including behind the ears, neck, hands, feet, and scalp 15 minutes before sun exposure
2. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours
3. While the sunscreen applies very easily, we recommend not spreading it too thin. Otherwise you will decrease the effectiveness of the sunscreen

Why Sunscreen?

The majority of sunscreens currently on the market are full of questionable ingredients and known carcinogens. Simply looking at the ingredients you'll quickly realize you don't recognize any of them. Many existing sunscreens have been brought to market with little concern for their safety. Question:	Is this tested on animals
Answer:	It is our policy not to test our products on animals. Edgewell only performs animal testing on products where required to do so by law.
Question:	Is this reef safe
Answer:	As of March 7 2019, this was on Hawaii dot com website regarding list of reef safe sunscreens: "Banana Boat Simply Protect SPF 50+ Sunscreen (spray, not lotion)". Glad I read that website first because I thought both would be safe. (I'm posting this to a few of the same questions here)
Question:	Does this contain coconut
Answer:	No. Coconut is not listed on the label under any category. The front label states, "No Added Oils & Fragrances" (Bad grammar, but informative, nonetheless). It also has no coconut-related odor that I can tell. Works great and is reef safe.
Question:	Does it say reef safe on the can
Answer:	active ingredients: avobenzone3% Homosalate 9.0%, Octisalate 4.5%, Octocrylene 7.0% 2 of the above ingredients are on the definitely non reef safe ingredients list, although not specifically banned most places yet. None of the inactive ingredients listed are on the non reef reef safe list though, (too many to list here). Below are the ingredients to avoid if at all possible(the top 4 are the worst imo). Oxybenzone Octinoxate Octocrylene Parabens 4-methylbenzylidene camphor Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) Triclosan Microplastic spheres or beads. Nanoparticles including of zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
