Answer:	Yes. The degree of whiteness will vary depending on the color of your skin and the amount of sunscreen you apply. It makes me look like Casper the Friendly Ghost. The bright side is that it works really well as a sun block even when I am in the water for extended times. I've tried many other sunscreens and this is the only one that seems to protect even after 1 hour of surfing. So I would recommend it for water-sports, but not for land-sports like skiing, tennis, etc. It is also somewhat greasy and can rub off on clothing or gear, so I would recommend that you clean your hands before touching any equipment.

Answer:	The one with Zinc leaves a white sheen. I would not wear it under make up. The one with out zinc does not leave a coating and I do wear it under my make up. I like the zinc for my nose because zinc has healing qualities and I have skin cancer on my nose. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Per the EWG site, it states that the product's ZINC OXIDE is (sunscreen grade > 100nm grade) and my understanding is that anything greater than 100nm is non particle. I'm not sure if it's biodegradable.

I just use a little pea-size squirt in my palm, rub my hands together, and then rub it in. If you use a small amount first to see how it applies to your skin and then if you need more just add a little at a time.

Answer:	If you rub it in well, it will not leave any film on the skin and will be invisible. But this is not as easy to do as other products without zinc oxide. Usually this is only a problem over hairy areas like my unshaved chin. Still it is well worth it to me for the safe ingredients alone.

Answer:	The Pure and Free Liquid seems to me more runny / liquidy than the Ultra Sheer range. More importantly for me though, P&F is a physical sunscreen and absolutely brilliant for very sensitive skin (like mine). The Ultra Sheer range is pretty good for sensitive skins, but it does use Helioplex and chemical sunscreens, so there's more risk of a skin reaction.

Answer:	I believe it will be fine since NO chemicals just mineral zinc & titanium so it won't sting either Great as a primer if you use makeup too since it will block sun rays

Answer:	It's very thin and liquid like. It doesn't leave a film if you rub it in enough, however if you don't, there's definitely a white film.

Answer:	Yes. I do sometimes. Just a heads up though, it’s fairly thick white because of the zinc oxide. A little difficult to wash off your skin if you put on a thick coat. However that hasn’t stopped me from using it or repurchasing it multiple times.

Answer:	It does repel water fairly well due to the thickness of the zinc oxide. I would definitely apply as directed, far in advance of going into the water and reapply once I’m out and dry again.

Question:	How many ingredients does it have? What are they
Answer:	I was wondering the same thing. From what I can tell, there is a similar product with SPF60+ that is rated poorly, with different ingredients that I have noticed some of the reviews complaining about. From what I can tell the SPF50 seems to be an improvement and it does not contain those same ingredients.

Answer:	To my knownledge. Yes. I did not like it. Way too thick. Hard to rub in. Very drying.

Answer:	Yes. On days my face is extremely dry, I apply a light moisturizer before applying this sunscreen (otherwise it slightly stings). On days my face is oily, I apply this sunscreen without moisturizer (the sunscreen doesn't make my face greasy though). This is the best sunscreen I've ever used and would be even better if it was tinted. It's difficult to find in stores, so worth buying on Amazon.
