Apparently Coppertone Defend & Care Face replaces Coppertone Oil Free Faces, so I tried it. It went on white, but when it dried, it left my skin a shade whiter and lef ta waxy look. The new product claims to be "water resistant," which the old product did not claim, and I suspect the waxiness is a side effect of making the product water resistant. I wear sunscreen on my face every day, not for swimming. For me, Coppertone Defend & Care Face is no better than most other sunscreens, so I now must find another satisfactory face sunscreen. Another reviewer a couple of days earlier had a similar experience. |

| Answer: | Me too. I sent it right back right away. The green and pink pure zinc oxide product still exists and I just went and got it at target. Amazon needs to fix this problem yesterday. When it comes to chemicals we put on our bodies they cannot make a mistake. |

However; as you describe yourself you should go with a higher Broad Spectrum SPF - I use an 80 on my face and my face still tans and this Coppertone 15 on my body; but, I'm Italian and have dark skin.Do you know you can tan on cloudy days where the sun is not shining through; though the damaging & tanning rays are? This could be a good time for U while using this Coppertone with "Broad Spectrum" SPF 15.I've read an answer here by Harry Carbuncle; take this good advice and consider avoiding direct sun rays. |

| Answer: | Look on the bottom back side of the bottle. There should be a numerical code there. Banana Boat says the first two numbers are the year it was made. The sunscreen has a shelf life of 3 years. My bottle's first two numbers are 13, so it was made in 2013. It's good until 2016, but I prefer to purchase every year just to be safe. |
