From what I can tell, there is a similar product with SPF60+ that is rated poorly, with different ingredients that I have noticed some of the reviews complaining about. From what I can tell the SPF50 seems to be an improvement and it does not contain those same ingredients.

Question:	It says it develops for 18-24 hours, but do you have to wait that long to shower? I like to spray at night and shower in the morning
Answer:	I am a master certified spray tanner and have used this product exclusively for 7+ years. Here's what is useful to know: If the person you are spraying has completely avoided the sun and has no previous sun tanning history, they will take longer for the solution to develop, i.e., porcelain and moist skins will take longer - but - 12 hrs. will still be enough. Those former sunbathers who previously had developed tans will develop very quickly. Their melanocytes will grab the solution and allow (in some cases) rinsing off in just a couple of hours. Clarifying further, the color won't yet show until about 8-12 hours have elapsed, but you don't have to leave the solution on that long. So, you can rinse off before the color is evident and it will still do its thing! Now, once you rinse with water, the darkening will be arrested. So, for those previous tanners who don't want to get too dark, they may find that 4-6 hours is long enough to give them the look they want. Otherwise, leaving on for 12-24 hrs. will make them extremely dark, perhaps not to their liking! Here is the ideal situation: late in the day, shower, exfoliate and brush teeth . DO NOT SHAMPOO YOUR HAIR. Why not? Well, many of the moisturizing ingredients in shampoo and conditioner will run down the body and create areas where the tanning solution cannot reach the skin. I have seen this on girls with long hair. The middle of their chests and back don't accept the tanning solution because it has a coating of hair conditioner on it! So caution them to wait and shampoo after they are done with their waiting period of however many hours they decide to allow development to take place. After spray tanning, use a fan or blow dryer to dry any moisture from the skin. If you are doing this at home and are able, do not put anything on for at least 1 hour. Then, cover the body with very loose clothing with no rubbing straps or elastics. Go to sleep and in the A.M., shower with only water (no soap on the tanned areas) and shampoo the hair. Then apply plenty of lotion. You should be looking good!

Answer:	Once dried you really don’t notice the smell it has. The products I’ve used do have smells but never leaves my clients feeling gross, especially after being dried. This product does not leave clients with a sticky feeling either. Not that the other product I used was bad but they do like the tan this product gives and say it dries faster without a residue feeling.

Question:	Are you supposed to dilute it at all? Just got a machine and wasn’t sure! I know it’s probably a dumb question
Answer:	Hello! Our solutions should not be diluted. They've been specially formulated to use right out of the bottle! Diluting with water or another liquid can cause a negative result to the developed color.
Question:	Is this product hypoallergenic
Answer:	Yes the manufacturer considers it hypoallergenic because they exclude the synthetic and processed ingredients that often cause reactions. We would recommend before application to do a patch test on you inner arm just to be sure you will not have any reactions.
Question:	how many spray tans can I get out of a 8oz bottle and a 32oz bottle
Answer:	8oz probably 4 spray tans approx
Question:	after being sprayed what is the procedure, rinse off after how many hours etc
Answer:	I have my own system so I spray tan in the evening around 8 or 9pm and leave it on while I sleep then shower first thing in the morning. I think with this product you can shower after 4 hours but I just tend to leave mine on all night. It doesn't hurt anything and it wont over develope if you leave it on more than 4 hours. Love the coverage and the color and it lasted about 9 days... awesome!! The only thing is "it's sticky" takes longer to dry. If you have to time to wait it out in a cool room for about 45min before putting on light fitting clothing... then it's good.Hope this helped!

Answer:	The solution should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not required for this product, ideally, 65-75 degrees is best.

Answer:	This is a solution that should be used with a professional spray gun. It doesn’t have a spray top because you are suppose to pour it into the cup for the spray gun.

Answer:	It depends on how you store unused solution, whether or not it was opened, if water got in it, light, heat exposure will all shorten the life span of the DHA.
Question:	Will this clog a mini spray bottle for touch ups on the go
Answer:	Hi. No, it will not clog up a spray bottle. Clients of mine use a similar idea for touch-ups, during the week.

Answer:	To me they all fade kind of blotchy but if could be my skin type. It fades better if you apply a lotion all over every day after you spray.

Answer:	Because it isn't being applied evenly and if it is applied evenly it isn't drying evenly and it is settling in the creases or dry patches on the skin. A spray tan will amplify any abnormalities in the skin. Healthy, freshly exfoliated skin tans the best. Spray tan products vary in thickness. If you have a thinner solution, turn down the spray gun and a thicker lotion needs a more open nozzle. Before every tan, exfoliate with a good exfoliator. Bottom line - If the St. Tropez solution works best with your spray gun and your skin, stick with that.

Question:	Can i use an electric paint sprayer to apply this product
Answer:	maybe, it depends on the sprayer, needle size, fluid passage size, compressor or turbine type, and so forth. We cannot guarantee that it would work correctly, as it is a thinner product then paint. It will not atomize in the same manner, and you will have more over-spray. This means more product will disperse in the room air, less on the skin, so if it can spray out, you will possibly need to use more product per application, to provide correct coverage to the skin surface. It is formulated to work correctly with professional Level spray tanning equipment, which should be configured with correct equipment specs to correctly apply thinner spray tan solution. Solution can also be applied by hand with a sponge, mitt or pad and a spray bottle. Please contact us for a direction sheet to apply by hand. please note, solutions cannot be returned once used or opened for Health and Safety reasons. So please only purchase a small bottle, in case this will not work in your equipment.

Question:	How do you know which %DHA to order
Answer:	You order the type based on your untanned skintype (pale) - 1-4 12% is for dark and very dark skintypes (4 and above) 10% is for medium dark skintypes (darker 3 and 4) 8% is for medium skintypes (the most common Caucasian USA skintype) , works well on skintype 3 and some 2, can also be used on fair or pale skintype 1, if you shower off at 4 hours for lighter color. If you are unsure always start with a lighter/lower DHA level, and shower at 8 hours, to prevent poor fading, orange or off tones. You can always apply more after 24 hours to darken color. If its to dark, or orangy, apply less next time, and or shower off sooner at 4 hours. You can always continually adjust shower tips and application layers to adjust color depth. Answer:	Hello, the Sjolie Sunless Ultra One Rapid Solution is an alcohol-based formulation to allow for a dry feel once applied. This product contains a temporary bronzer for immediate color gratification which will wash off in the initial shower. Customers should not feel sticky with this solution; if this does occur, the technician may be applying too much solution. We recommend only using 2 oz. of product per client and applying only 1 light coat for best results.
