Answer:	It's a combo of lavender & sage. More lavender than sage. It is a pleasant smell. Not sure about the ingredients.

Answer:	I am not sure if it is cold pressed, It is a solid soap, but if left setting in water it get mushy. The ingredients are: Sodium palmate, sodium palm kernelate, water,glycerin, lavender, shea butters, sodium, gluconate, clary, charcoal pwd, jojoba seed pwd. It is one of my favorites, smell good and leaves my skin soft.

Answer:	From my experience, it will be the green bar. I was ordering this product online to get the blue bar but eventually the new green began coming in the package. I have found the white bar to be as good as the blue but I don’t care for the green bar.

Answer:	It's not as thick as the stuff you can buy at Wal-Mart... thinner than that, but not super runny. In between.

Answer:	For making hand sanitizer, I have mixed this with 99% isopropyl alcohol, and with 95% and 75% ethanol. I used whisks, and most recently added the EtOH slowly in a food processor (be careful-- the ethanol is flammable). I have been unable to prevent separation of the aloe from the alcohol, as it is a fine suspension-- probably organic plant matter, cellulose, etc. that will not dissolve no matter what you do. Shaking it up makes a very fine suspension and it feels just fine on the hands used this way. I have also filtered the mixture through paper towels, to get a clear hand sanitizer, which should still have the same alcohol concentration as desired (60% or probably better is 70% EtOH). I also used some glycerine as well.

Answer:	I have sensitive, oily skin prone to acne. I've been using this aloe gel mixed about 50/50 with CeraVe's moisturizing lotion (after Crabtree & Evelyn Luminous Cleansing Balm, Thayer's toner, and either a vitamin C/hyaluronic acid serum or a niacinamide serum), and my skin is happier than it's ever been in my entire life.

Answer:	No, the seaweed used in our product is not carrageenan. As we know, there are health concerns with carrageenan and that is why we would never use it or anything containing it in our products. It is safe to use, even iodine has been removed, which makes it safe for people with iodine sensitivities.

Answer:	I mixed with 99% isopropyl alcohol (2/3 alcohol to 1/3 Pura d'Or to achieve the right percentage of alcohol)...BUT this did not mix well at all, perhaps because of some of the ingredients other than aloe. I cannot recommend it for the purpose of making a hand sanitizer, though perhaps it works well for other purposes.

Answer:	I and my wife think so. If I ever had to put anything on my face for sunburn, it's this. Mostly due to it not being very oily. My wife likes it for the same reasons. That, and it rubs in well and easily.

Answer:	Yes, it was changed. It smells more perfume, they added probably 10 more ingredients ( not natural). Before it was 99,5% natural Now it is 98.6%. I really liked old product. There new version doesn’t feel and smell the same.

What is SPF

Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB

There are two types of ultraviolet (UV) light that can harm your skin- UVA and UVB. A Broad Spectrum sunscreen protects you from both. UVB rays are primarily responsible for causing sunburn while UVA rays are associated with skin aging.

Sunscreen Application

The recommended amount of sunscreen for the average person is 1 Fl Oz. A simple way to remember how much sunscreen to apply is imagine the amount of sunscreen that would fit in a shot glass or the size of a golf ball. Sunscreen should be applied 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every 2 hours or immediately after swimming, sweating or drying off.

Traditional vs Mineral Sunscreens
