Answer:	Most of these are sold as singles and in boxes of 36, not sealed. I bought them that way from the local Whole Earth center for years. But they no longer carry them. They recently started putting a white label around the bottom, which now seals them. I use them either way always wiping the top layer on the back of my hand . Hope this helps

They both have the same amount/type of active ingredient and both work well for me to either prevent or stop an emerging cold sore in it's tracks. However, if I don't catch the cold sore early enough DocoSheild not only shortens the cold-sore lifespan, but keeps it moisturized so there is not painful dryness, itching, cracking or bleeding of the cold-sore as it heals. DocoSheild lasts longer, is less messy (not finger based application) and has a pleasant smell/flavor to me. For me, has proven to be a good purchase. My only gripe is price.

Answer:	I actually was planning on using it as a first aid ointment. It has ingredients in it that will prevent infection. Answer:	It does not appear to have lanolin. It has Coconut Oil, Montana Beeswax, AEA Certified Grade A Emu Oil, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba, Aloe Oil and Tocopherol/Natural Vitamin E.

Answer:	This is a great question, as the quality of the finished oil is highly dependent on how the emus are raised and treated on the farm. All Emu Joy brand oil comes from emus raised at only one family run farm in the USA. This way we are able to have control over the care and treatment of the emus, and this results in emu oil rated in the top 2% compared to other brands. The emu ranch we partner with consists of 40 acres where they are raised free range, with every aspect of production handled by the family run farm. This allows us to monitor every step of the process to produce the finest quality emu oil products on the market. The emus are given different feeds for each stage of growth and enjoy a totally vegetarian (and organic as much as possible) diet that is high in protein, free of growth hormones, and contains no antibiotics. The birds are fed free choice whether they are baby chicks, yearlings, or breeders. All processing is done at U.S.D.A. inspected facilities. This ensures that the birds are handled humanely. Unlike most other animals that are raised for processing, a full 95% of an emu is utilized, including the meat, fat, skin, feathers and bones. Please be aware that as interest in emu oil continues to grow, farms are springing up all around the world. Farms in India and China may not follow the same practices that our partner farm does, and the resulting oil will have lower concentrations of the essential fatty acids that make emu oil so beneficial. Answer:	It has an SPF of 15, so actually some protection from sun. I always keep a tube of it in my beach bag and reapply every couple of hours. Very moisturizing too.
