Answer:	I would not recommend this type of application. My wife and I have made our own masks with denim on the outside and jersey cloth on the inside and took it two additional steps. Before completing the denim/jersey mask, we inserted a surgical face mask in the middle and then sewed a 14 gage copper wire around the edges of the mask. The copper wire is known to kill flu/viruses and further helps shape the mask around your face, including your nose and cheeks to prevent fogging of your glasses.

Answer:	I haven’t tried to see if it is water proof. It will hold a bandage in place and stays on even when sweating. I’m in Kansas and it 90+ degrees out mowing all day and have it holding a lidocaine patch in place. Approximate size of the patch is 4” x5.5”. I love this tape!!
