Answer:	No, it doesn’t. I’ve been using St. Ives for years, maybe over 15. It doesn’t clear scars. I does, however; helps reduce acne. It’s an instant skin softer too and that’s why I personally like it (besides the unnecessary added fragrance).

Question:	Walnut shells or hydrated silica? The ingredients listed on the webpage state silica, but a user said theirs states walnut shells on their tube
Answer:	Sorry, I confused the Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub with the Even & Bright bottle. I ordered them both. The Apricot Scrub lists walnut she'll powder and a ingredient, the Even & Bright Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange scrub lists silica. For what it's worth I much prefer the Apricot Scrub.
Question:	does this help with dry skin
Answer:	I don't think it does directly. But I can use it every other day with no additional dryness and it helps exfoliate dry dead skin. This makes creams moisturize more efficiently.
Question:	Can I used it as daily wash
Answer:	Depends how oily and acne prone your skin is. I wear treatments to bed so I use an exfoliating scrub in AM to help remove them and the dead cells from the night. When I do that with my sensitive, acne prone t-zone oily, reactive skin it doesn’t hurt. But don’t do it more than once a day if you use it daily and always moisturize after.
Question:	When they say "100% natural exfoliants", they mean the scrubbies are some kind of shell right? I just want to make sure I'm not buying plastic beads
Answer:	This product definitely does NOT use walnut shells as the beads feel very gentle and soft unlike other product lines they have which feels rough. I'm pretty sure it has plastic beads. Please do NOT buy this scrub because the beads will end up in the ocean which is really bad for the fish and the food chain.

Answer:	The 10 oz amount comes in the jar but the 6oz amount comes in a tube. I have purchased both sizes but the jar seems better to me because it has more beads in it for scrubbing and less cream unlike the tube.

The listed ingredient is "Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate" which is different from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_lauryl_sulfate" and seems to be a point of differentiation for St. Ives. There are some blog posts if you perform a simple Google search which compare the two, but they seemed to be mostly lacking in substantive sources of evidence. I also looked on my university's research network and found very little on Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate. Answer:	I just got mine and it wasn’t sealed either. I’m kind of relieved to know this seems to be normal. I definitely think it should be sealed either on the exterior with a plastic wrap around the lid or else on the inside with those silver peel off tamper covers.
