If your electric floor heating system draw less than 1800W you should be good to go. However, you may want to figure out why the previous thermostat died... if it died because of overload the Honeywell TH115-AF-GA will not work.
Question:	What are the wave lengths on the other colors? I only see the red is 640nm
Answer:	The sensors that I have used with this thermostat are the Honeywell models. I always run a backup sensor also, just in case. For $10 it's worth it. The sensor is available for less in places other than amazon - just google the part #. IMO - The sensor should match the thermostat, not the floor mat. But you would have to check w/ Honeywell to see if one from suntouch is compatible. Personally, I wouldn't take the chance since at best maybe you got one included with your mat and you'll spending $20 for 2 Honeywell models. Is it really worth any risk at all to save $10? Bottom line, you would have to check w/ Honeywell to see if it is compatible. But why take the chance? I'd be surprised if Honeywell would tell you that any sensor other than theirs is approved and tested for use but ... you can try. Did you ask Suntouch? If they only make mats and not thermostats then maybe they've done testing with different combinations. That's a good place to check. Still it's not much money and IMO - you need 2 sensors in case you have a failure - either over time or during install. Sensor wires are THIN and fragile - unlike the heating wires themselves. It wouldn't take much to nick one.

Question:	Could you also use this on your knee? I have joint issues but also would like it for my face
Answer:	You could, but it's not your best option. Supposedly the red lights in the mask are the same type used for arthritis, but there are other issues that might make it ineffective for your knee. You would want to put the red light directly on the joint that is causing you pain, and the shape of the mask might not allow you to do that, as it is hard plastic. It is curved, so it might fit if you have a big knee, but the cutouts for the eyes and mouth would also interfere with how much light gets on the area you want to treat. A better option for you might be a hand held device that you can control and place exactly where you need it - they are less convenient because you have to hold them in your hand during the whole treatment as apposed to just letting it sit there like this mask, but I think you would get better results.

Answer:	As customer, I can tell you the product does not specify what type of LEDs it uses, but they do not get hot. There are 150 lights, 60 above the eyes and 90 below the eyes. They are tiny squares that will cover most of your face, but there are no lights around the sensitive area immediately around your eyes, a half inch vertical strip along the top of the nose that has no lights, and a small area above the upper lip.
